A mother who started the campaign called ReOpenNC has been diagnosed with the Coronavirus, in her campaign with two other mother, she wants Governor Cooper to reopen all of North Carolina’s businesses to save the economy while killing citizens. "I have been told not to participate in public or private accommodations as requested by the government, and therefore denied my 1st amendment right of freedom of religion," She wrote on Facebook. This campaign which wants her and her children to be able to go outside is extremely foolish, while people of all ages are dying because of this disease, we have people like them who wants to stay outside with hundreds of people and scream that they are safe, and the government is “Over-reacting”.

A Chapel Hill family who tested positive for COVID-19 decided to test their Pug as well, who tested positive, the investigator at Duke, Dr. Chris Woods, said that it is the first known positive case of COVID in a dog in the United States.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a "New York State on PAUSE" executive order which took effect on March 22. Schools and nonessential businesses are ordered to stay closed until May 15. New York has joined a coalition with the Northeastern states of New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Rhode Island and Massachusetts to coordinate the reopening of the economy, according to a press release from Cuomo's office.

The CDC written a 17 page paper about what Americans should be expecting when the United States first reopen. Restaurants will space out their customers and only open 50% of their store. For Schools, the document suggests keeping classes together in order to include the same group of children each day and avoid mixing between groups and to have children eat lunch inside their classrooms instead of going to the cafeteria. The document also recommends many businesses that if their line of work does not require them to be at the office physically, then they should continue the use of working remotely.

According to scientists at the global Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), based at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine in Seattle, North Carolina is going to hit peak daily deaths on April, 17. All U.S. states are going to hit peak by May, but the pandemic is going to at least last until late June, which is when the first zero deaths day is going to happen.
